Fishing Trips at WDW

I’ve settled into the serious planning stages for our November trip (OK, I know I’m a little late, but we were just there in June and I’ve finally caught up at work and home) and I was looking ofr something ’different’ for my husband to try this visit.  I saw the fishing excursions on Deb’s site and wanted to find out if anyone has booked one of these packages – I was thinking of the early one from the Boardwalk – and what they thought of it.  I know it is catch and release, but will it be 2 hours of waiting ofr a bite or 2 hours.

We do several volunteer vacations fishing trips on every visit (we go on the Grand/Deluxe Plans) and always have a good time.  Based on other responses I would say the fish bite moe in Bay Lake or Seven Seas agoon. Last December we brought in either 43 or 53 bass in one outing.  My fiancé hooked 19 after no bites the entire first hour!  It is always fun as it is something outdoorsy that my dad, sister, fiancée, and myself all enjoy. Plus it is quiet and relaxing out on the lake.  I love the parks but most of the best times and jokes occur during the Bay Lake activities like Fishing, water Skiing, Parasailing, or Water Mousing.  I have been going for the past 25 years and still enjoy the lake as much as any of the parks.  It would be great if my mom would koin us on the boat while fishing.
